Nomeco is a part of Tamro Group, which has published its first Corporate Responsibility Report. Tamro Group focuses on economic, environmental and social responsibility.

Corporate responsibility has become an integral part of the day-to-day business with the stakeholders. Nomeco and the rest of Tamro Group has an important role in enabling the safe and effective delivery of the right medicines at the right place and at the right time – not only in Denmark but also in the rest of the Nordic countries, the Baltic countries and Poland.

This central position in the pharmaceutical delivery chain has enforced the importance of behaving responsible – and measuring it. Not only when it comes to the economic responsibility, but also concerning environmental and social responsibility.

Therefore Tamro has put a lot of effort in developing its corporate responsibility reporting process and published the first report in spring 2010. A Code of Conduct has also been introduced to the whole Tamro Group. The goal is to optimise deliveries, set reasonable targets and, in time, cut down on the most important causes of the companies' carbon emissions.
