Interim Stock

When a pharmaceutical is temporarily deregistered in the official price list, Nomeco returns this to the supplier – e.g. if there are not enough goods to last before the new official price list comes into force. Instead of having to deal with the process of the goods being returned, the supplier can now choose to have the goods stored at Nomeco’s Interim Stock. Nomeco stores the packages and returns them to saleable stock when the good is included in the official price list again.

The supplier is always the one to decide if the good is to be stored in the Interim Stock. Being the supplier means having the flow of goods under control and this is made possible via Nomeco’s SupplierOnline on this website. Here you will find easy access to information about item number, number of packages, expiry date and batch number.

With Interim Stock you avoid having to handle the returned goods yourself. The packages can easily be moved to saleable stock again, and there is no need for them to be repacked since they remain in the wholesaler’s stock. As a wholesaler Nomeco has a time limit of 6 months to sell pharmaceuticals with an outdated package insert – if the good is returned to the supplier, the outdated package insert must be replaced.

Advantages:
• Less handling and administration
• Easy access to the market again
• Costs for transport are kept low, and CO2 is saved
• No need for repacking of products
