Until February 2012 Nomeco was a part of Tamro Group who has published a CR report with focus on financial, environmental and social responsibility.
Responsibility has become an essential part of the daily business with customers and partners. Nomeco and the rest of Tamro Group play a decisive role in the supply of pharmaceuticals – not only in Denmark but also in the remaining part of the Nordic countries, the Baltic States and Poland.
This decisive role has increased the need for acting responsibly – and to the greatest extent possible measuring the responsibility. A three-part bottom line can be mentioned since Nomeco and the rest of Tamro Group not only must show financial responsibility but also environmental and social responsibility.
Therefore, Tamro has put in a great deal of work developing processes regarding the company’s responsibility. Based on the reported data from all Tamro countries the first CR report was published in the spring of 2010. The overall purpose is to optimise the deliveries, set reasonable goals and in time cut down on the areas where the company has the biggest CO2 emission.
The web-based reports can be found here:
Furthermore, Tamro has developed a
code of conduct which all 5,500 employees in the company must acquire by means of a game.
